Privacy Policy

RankUpNow (“we”, “our”) is an exam-preparation platform offering practice questions, mock tests and study material for Indian government exams. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

  • Account details: name, email address, and a securely hashed password (we never store plain-text passwords). If you log in with OTP, we store the email and a verification record.
  • Study activity: mock attempts, answers, scores, bookmarks and test history — used to show your progress, solutions and analytics.
  • Technical data: device type, browser, IP address and pages visited, used for security, rate-limiting and improving the site. This includes aggregated usage data from Google Analytics.
  • Payments: paid plans are not yet available. When they launch, payments will be processed securely through our payment partner (Razorpay) — we will receive only the payment status and order id, never your card, UPI or bank details.

How we use it

To run your account, deliver mocks and solutions, send OTP/login emails, prevent abuse (rate limits, bot detection) and improve the product. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in (session) and remember your language choice. We also use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used; Google processes this data under its own terms. Advertising may be enabled in the future — in that case third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits; you may opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.

Data sharing

We share data only with service providers needed to run the site: our hosting/database provider, our email provider (Resend) for OTP mails, and Google for analytics. We disclose data to anyone else only if required by law.

Your rights

Your account and study history are kept while your account is active. You can ask us to export or delete your data at any time by writing to founder@rankupnow.app. Deletion removes your account, attempts and personal details.

Children's privacy

RankUpNow is intended for users aged 16 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.
